As the 2022 camping season fast approaches, the Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA) campsite reservation system will launch on March 15.
As per a report, the reservation system on www.grcacamping.ca provides 24 hours of online reservation service until mid-October, when the camping season closes.
Phone reservations are available by calling 1-877-558-4722 from 9 am and 3 pm, seven days a week.
Reservations are possible for any of the eight GRCA conservation areas, which offer camping.
Limited reservations for group sites and pavilions are available by phoning the conservation areas directly beginning May 1.
This year, the GRCA campsite reservation service will be given a new look, focusing on a better customer experience.
The system will open for limited access starting March 8 at 8 am. Visitors will be able to create a new user profile, visit campsites within GRCA conservation areas, and get acquainted with the system before the launch date.
Reservations will not be available online or over the phone until March 15.
To stay up-to-date on conservation area and activity status, visit www.grandriver.ca/conservationareastatus for real-time information about whether a conservation area is open or has reached its operating capacity for the day.
