The Q1 2024 RV Market Consideration Report by Retain Media reveals that Jayco remains the leading brand in the Australian caravan market, capturing an impressive 31.9% search share. The comprehensive study, which covered 92 brands and incorporated 2.7 million searches, indicated a 0.7% increase in search share for Jayco from the last quarter of 2023. Though seemingly small, this growth translates to over 40,000 additional searches, underlining Jayco’s expanding market presence and successful marketing efforts.
Despite Jayco’s growth, other major brands have experienced fluctuations. Avan, for example, saw a decline in search volume from 102,000 in Q2 2023 to 86,000 in Q1 2024. However, not all brands are facing declines. Zone RV and Patriot Campers, for instance, have shown notable increases in search share and volume, suggesting a resurgence in their market appeal. Zone RV’s search share rose by 24.5%, while Patriot Campers saw a 68% increase, according to the report.
