CampLife will host a free webinar Oct. 8 focused on helping campground owners and operators assess their parks’ online presence and identify information potential guests encounter when searching for a campground.
The webinar, “Before You Market: Fixing Your Park’s Digital Foundation,” is scheduled for 1 p.m. EST and will examine the path guests take from search results to the information they review before making a reservation.
CampLife will be joined by one of its marketing partners for a discussion covering common issues that may appear in search results and online listings.
The session will also address what guests look for when visiting a campground website and where park owners can begin when reviewing their digital presence.
The webinar will examine consistency between a campground’s website and Google Business Profile, including the role of clear and accurate information in helping guests move from searching for a campground to making a reservation.
According to a press release, Emily Hickey, CampLife’s marketing team lead, said campground owners have multiple marketing options but should first understand what potential guests are finding online.
“Campground owners have a lot of options when it comes to marketing, but it helps to know what guests are finding before you decide where to put your time and money,” Hickey said.
“We want park owners to leave this webinar with a simple way to look at their own digital footprint and a better idea of what may need their attention,” Hickey added.
The session also will include a live question-and-answer period, giving attendees an opportunity to ask questions at the conclusion of the webinar.
