Go RVing has renewed its partnership to serve as the Official RV Sponsor of the ExxonMobil Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, scheduled for Oct. 3-11, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The agreement marks a continuation of a brand partnership that initially began in 2016.
The annual event, which draws hundreds of thousands of spectators, features signature events including early-morning mass ascensions and evening balloon glows.
The sponsorship aims to showcase the utility, comfort, and flexibility of recreational vehicle travel to event attendees as they explore outdoor recreation.
As part of the 2026 event, Go RVing plans to deploy an expanded, interactive activation area on the grounds. Attendees will have direct access to tour three fully equipped RV models, participate in family-oriented games, access dedicated photo opportunities, and enter sweepstakes featuring a $10,000 grand prize that can be applied toward an RV purchase.
The partnership leverages commonalities between event spectators and recreational vehicle enthusiasts, focusing on destination travel, outdoor exploration, and group experiences with family and friends.
The announcement highlights that traveling in an RV offers visitors an adaptable framework for extended trips, enabling flexible itineraries, unplanned stops, and on-site lodging capabilities throughout multi-day events.
“There is a certain feeling of awe that Fiesta spectators feel when watching hundreds of balloons lift off at sunrise, and that same feeling can be felt the moment you step out of your RV and see what’s waiting for you just beyond your door,” Monika Geraci, Go RVing spokesperson, said in a News and Insights report of RVIA.
“Whether you’re watching the balloons rise, hopping on a ride, or simply taking in the energy of the Fiesta with family and friends, an RV gives you the comfort and flexibility to experience it all at your own pace,” Geraci added.
Geraci added that using an RV provides attendees a relaxing home base during the festivities, allowing visitors the freedom to adjust their schedules and stay longer at the venue.
