Unhitched Management has assumed management of Jetstream RV Resort at Stafford, an 182-site RV community in Stafford, Texas, expanding the company’s management operations in the Houston area.
The Unhitched RV hospitality and operations division will oversee day-to-day park operations, guest services and property enhancements at the resort, located at 1711 Moore Road in Stafford.
The company said its initial improvements will focus on curb appeal, common areas and guest communications.
“Stafford is all about convenience, a safe, clean, gated community where neighbors become friends, whether you’re staying for a season, working in the Houston area, or calling it home,” Robert Preston, CEO of Unhitched RV, said in a press release.
“Jetstream RV Resort at Stafford is a new build resort with all expected amenities, just off the Southwest Freeway, and we’re excited to dig in and make it the resort that the owners envisioned,” Preston added.
The resort has 182 full-hookup RV sites with electric, water and sewer connections and can accommodate rigs of all sizes.
Amenities include a swimming pool, fitness center, laundry and bathhouse, as well as a beer garden, grilling pavilion and community firepit area.
Additional recreational facilities include a putting green, cornhole area, catch-and-release fishing pond and arcade room with a pool table and shuffleboard.
Unhitched said its longer-term plans for the property include upgraded amenities, landscaping and community programming.
The company also plans to apply operational systems for maintenance, reservation management and guest satisfaction developed across its RV property portfolio.
Jetstream’s location southwest of Houston provides access to Sugar Land and Missouri City, as well as downtown Houston, the Texas Medical Center and area dining, shopping and business centers, according to the company.
The property is positioned as a destination for long-term guests, snowbirds and travelers visiting the Houston area.
Unhitched RV is headquartered in Pensacola, Florida, and is led by Preston. The company operates a portfolio of RV resorts and campgrounds across the United States.
