U.S. RV wholesale shipments totaled 25,484 units in June, down 13.1% from the same month in 2025, as declines in towable RVs and motorhomes contributed to a 14.2% year-to-date decrease, according to the RV Industry Association‘s (RVIA) June 2026 manufacturer survey.
Through the first six months of 2026, manufacturers shipped 163,644 RVs, compared with 190,705 units during the same period in 2025.
The June total of 25,484 units compared with 29,332 wholesale shipments recorded in June last year.
Towable RVs, led by conventional travel trailers, accounted for the majority of June shipments but posted the largest year-over-year decline. Manufacturers shipped 22,728 towable units during the month, down 14.3% from June 2025.
Motorhome shipments also declined, though at a slower pace. The segment totaled 2,756 wholesale units in June, representing a 1.6% decrease compared with the same month a year earlier.
In contrast, the park model RV segment recorded continued growth. Wholesale shipments of park model RVs reached 433 units in June, an increase of 25.5% from the same month last year.
The park model category also remained ahead on a year-to-date basis. Manufacturers shipped 2,605 park model RVs through the end of June, up 23.7% compared with the first half of 2025.
The RVIA released the figures as part of its monthly survey of manufacturers, which tracks wholesale RV shipments across major product categories. The association also published updated monthly charts showing total wholesale RV shipments and park model RV shipments for 2025 and 2026.
The RVIA, which has offices in the Washington, D.C., area and Elkhart, Indiana, represents more than 430 RV manufacturers and component and aftermarket suppliers.
According to the association, its members produce 98% of all RVs manufactured in the United States and approximately 60% of RVs produced worldwide.
The association said its mission includes expanding the RV market, promoting a favorable business environment for the industry, providing market research and industry data, improving RV products, and supporting consumer awareness through the Go RVing campaign.
It also conducts manufacturing plant inspections, tracks industry trends and consumer RVing behavior, works with federal and state policymakers, and supports technician training through the RV Technical Institute.
