Fields End Water Adds Dedicated Dog Agility Field for Guests and Visitors

Fields End Water, an adults-only and dog-friendly touring and camping destination in the Fenland countryside, has expanded its pet-focused amenities with the introduction of Doddy Dog Field, a dedicated exercise and agility area for dogs.

The new facility adds to the existing network of dog walking opportunities available across the site, which include trails alongside fishing lakes and through woodland areas. According to the campsite, the one-acre field is fully fenced and designed to provide a secure environment where dogs can exercise off-leash.

Within the five-foot-high enclosed grass area, visitors will find a range of agility equipment intended for recreational use. Features include jumps with adjustable-height bars, a six-meter plastic tunnel, and a set of six weave poles. The field also provides open space for dogs to run, play, and engage in exercise activities.

Doddy Dog Field is available to book for exclusive use, according to Out&AboutLive. Sessions are priced at £6 for 30 minutes or £11 for one hour. Guests staying at Fields End Water receive discounted access to the facility.

The addition reflects a broader trend across the outdoor hospitality sector, where campgrounds, holiday parks, and glamping destinations are increasingly investing in pet-friendly amenities to appeal to travelers who bring their dogs on vacation. Dedicated dog exercise areas, pet washing stations, and dog-friendly accommodations have become more common features as operators seek to differentiate their properties and attract repeat visitors.

Fields End Water offers 80 fully serviced pitches for touring caravans, motorhomes, and campers. Some pitches are located near woodland areas, while others overlook the site’s fishing lakes. The property also includes waterside camping pods and luxury lodges situated in a separate area of the grounds.

In addition to accommodations, the site provides toilet and shower facilities, as well as a seasonal lakeside café and bar. The property is also known for its three fishing lakes and has previously received recognition as an AA Campsite of the Year award winner.

While no opening date for Doddy Dog Field was announced, the launch of the facility represents another investment in guest amenities at the campsite. For outdoor hospitality operators, the development highlights the growing importance of catering to pet owners, a market segment that continues to influence booking decisions across the camping, caravan, RV, and glamping sectors.
