JCT600 has announced a major expansion of its Volkswagen Van Centre in Leeds, adding new vehicle sales and securing official Volkswagen California Centre status.
From this month, the Hunslet-based site, located just off the M621, is operating as a full Volkswagen Van Centre, providing new and used vehicle sales alongside parts and aftersales services according to an article by Yorkshire Evening Post.
With the upgrade, the Leeds location becomes JCT600’s fifth fully authorised Volkswagen Van Centre in the UK, strengthening the group’s footprint in the commercial and leisure vehicle market.
The site has also been selected as one of only 16 official Volkswagen California Centres nationwide.
This designation allows the Leeds operation to offer specialist sales expertise focused on the California campervan range, with trained advisers guiding customers through purchase decisions, specification options and ownership requirements.
The move positions the dealership to better serve customers seeking lifestyle vehicles that blend everyday usability with campervan functionality.
Simon Hardwick, Volkswagen commercial vehicles brand director at JCT600, said the expansion reflects both regional demand and long-term strategic investment in the brand.
“Expanding our Leeds Van Centre to include new vehicle sales and official California Centre status reflects both the strength of demand in the region and our long-term commitment to Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles,” he said.

As an official California Centre, JCT600’s Leeds Van Centre will not only provide sales support but will also offer servicing, MOTs and genuine parts for owners, creating a one-stop destination for both new buyers and existing customers.
