Van Riper State Park and Beaufort Lake State Forest campgrounds in Michigan have been temporarily closed due to damage caused by a recent snowstorm that hit the area. 

As per a report, the rustic campground at Van Riper State Park and Beaufort Lake State Forest campground will remain closed until May 22 while repairs and cleanup efforts are being carried out.

According to officials from Van Riper State Park, last week’s snowstorm resulted in a significant amount of damage throughout the park, including downed trees, limbs, and branches.
