Vanspeed Introduces “Album” AWD Sprinter-Based Adventure Van With Modular Living and Off-Grid Capability

Vanspeed, an Orange County-based adventure van builder, has introduced the Album, AWD 144-inch Sprinter 2500 platform designed to blend space efficiency, comfort, and “real-world usability” for travel and daily use.

The Album is a flexible platform for use cases from commuting and family activities to extended off-grid travel for surfing, hiking, and mountain biking.

Its design emphasizes space planning and modular functionality rather than over-the-top luxury, serving both daily driving and adventure-oriented travel.

At the core of the Album is a multi-functional living concept allowing the interior to shift between living, sleeping, storage, and workspace without complex reconfiguration.

“The new Vanspeed Album was designed to move with our clients wherever they go,” Vanspeed Founder Duran Morley said in a press release. “We wanted to create something special that feels open and functional during the day while still delivering an easy, comfortable living experience at night. Our clients want quality, durability, and the freedom to go anywhere they want when they feel like it.

“Album does it all, cross country trips, camping, surfing and biking trips, all alongside the daily life stuff thrown at our clients. The most important part for us at Vanspeed is delivering a van life experience that allows people to make happy memories and have fun,” Morley added.

The Stage Sleep System is a Murphy-style queen bed with more than 6 feet 8 inches of usable length that deploys for nighttime use and stows to open a walk-through cabin.

The VersaCloset Wet Bath combines shower and storage, functioning as an enclosed closet with shelving and hanging space when not in use and converting into a private shower when needed.

The ModuRide Cargo System features modular rear seating mounted on an L-track system, allowing components to be removed or repositioned to expand cargo space for gear such as bikes, boards, and equipment.

Additional features include an expandable countertop, slide-out work table, exterior fold-out table, built-in sink, and integrated utility systems. The van uses a lithium power system, all-terrain wheels, and comes in Stone Grey, Silver Grey, and Blue Grey finishes.

“At Vanspeed, everything that we engineer comes from real-world experience,” continued Morley. “The Album reflects how people actually live, travel, and road trip today. Our job is to deliver a mobile tool for experiencing the best of life and we are so proud of what we have made with the new Vanspeed Album.”
