Camping World Holdings, Inc., America’s leading RV retailer, recently announced its agreement to acquire Carbon Emery RV, a deal that includes two dealerships strategically located along the historic US Route 6 between Provo and Interstate 70 in Utah.
The acquisition, expected to close in the second quarter of 2023, will increase the company’s Utah location count to six, according to a press release.
The acquisition of Carbon Emery RV will solidify Camping World’s position as the number one RV retailer by unit volume in Utah, according to Marcus Lemonis, chairman and CEO of Camping World. This expansion will extend the company’s presence in the crucial national park corridor of central Utah.
The two dealerships, Carbon Emery North Lot at 5129 N. Hwy 6, Helper, Carbon County, UT 84526, and Carbon Emery South Lot at 4590 N. Hwy 6, Helper, Carbon County, UT 84526, will be transformed into new SuperCenters.
These SuperCenters will offer a broad range of new and used RVs from top brands, a comprehensive selection of RV and outdoor products and accessories, and a full portfolio of Good Sam products and services.
Despite the global oil prices hovering near $70 a barrel amid recession fears, Camping World continues to strengthen its position in the RV market.
