Unique Camping + Marine Partners With Care Camps Foundation to Support Pediatric Oncology Camps

Unique Camping + Marine has entered a partnership with Care Camps Foundation to support pediatric oncology camps across the United States and Canada, expanding funding and engagement efforts aimed at providing free outdoor camp experiences for children with cancer and their families.

The agreement establishes ongoing corporate contributions from Unique Camping + Marine to Care Camps Foundation, alongside customer-facing donation opportunities integrated into product orders.

The company is also evaluating volunteer initiatives that would involve its employees directly in pediatric oncology camp activities.

The collaboration connects a commercial supplier in the RV and marine sector with a nonprofit organization that funds medically supervised camps designed for children with cancer. These camps operate at no cost to families and focus on delivering recreational and social experiences in outdoor settings.

“At Unique Camping + Marine, we’re all about helping families make real, lasting memories,” Ricky Stewart, executive director of sales and marketing, said in a press release.

“We are honored to support Care Camps Foundation, who help bring this idea to life for the kids and families who need it most,” Stewart added.

Jenna Berneck, development director at Care Camps Foundation, said the partnership extends beyond financial contributions by incorporating customer participation.

“We are grateful to partner with Unique Camping + Marine as they bring both their team and their customers into this effort,” Berneck said.

“Their commitment helps make possible safe and accessible camp experiences where children with cancer can enjoy the outdoors, build friendships, and simply be kids, while families find connection and support,” Berneck added.

Care Camps Foundation supports a network of more than 120 pediatric oncology camps in partnership with the Children’s Oncology Camping Association. The organization reports that these programs serve more than 45,000 children and family members annually across both countries.

The partnership adds Unique Camping + Marine to a group of outdoor industry companies contributing to the foundation’s funding base. The initiative is structured to combine corporate giving, consumer engagement, and potential on-site volunteerism.
