Thousand Trails has launched its 12th annual #100DaysofCamping campaign, encouraging campers to share outdoor experiences and participate in prize giveaways during the summer travel season between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
The campaign, which began in 2015, centers on the roughly 100-day period between the two holidays and promotes camping activities at Thousand Trails campgrounds across North America.
Guests can participate by posting photos on social media using the hashtag #100DaysofCamping or by uploading images directly to the campaign website.
The annual initiative is designed to highlight outdoor recreation during the peak camping season and encourage guests to document activities such as hiking, campfires and other campground experiences.
As part of the 2026 campaign, Thousand Trails is again holding its rally towel photo contest. Guests who receive rally towels during check-in are encouraged to include them in camping photos shared online throughout the summer. The company is also introducing custom Thousand Trails stickers tied to 16 themed weekends scheduled during the campaign period.
According to Thousand Trails, participants who post or upload photos using the campaign hashtag will be entered for opportunities to win prizes.
The giveaway package includes an REI gift card, a Solo Stove bonfire, a GCI Kickback rocker chair, a Thousand Trails Yeti mug and belt bag, and a five-region Thousand Trails Camping Pass with The Trails Collection. The company estimated the total prize value at approximately $2,350.
“Our Thousand Trails campgrounds offer events and activities all year long, but during the prime summer camping season, the #100DaysofCamping movement provides a little extra excitement for our guests,” Heidi Sullivan, spokesperson for Thousand Trails, said in a press release.
“We strive to create meaningful experiences and inspire our members and guests to make their camping adventures truly memorable,” Sullivan added.
Thousand Trails operates more than 80 RV resorts and campgrounds across 23 states and British Columbia, Canada. The company provides RV and outdoor recreation destinations with amenities and activities aimed at campers and traveling families.
