THOR Industries, the world’s biggest RV manufacturer, showed how it gave importance to its partnership with the Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) through a new short film titled “Stronger Together.”
Along with the film, the company also sponsors GSUSA’s largest and most popular outdoor event, “Girl Scouts Love State Parks.” The annual event is hosted in nearly 500 state parks across the country and Puerto Rico, according to a report.
This year’s event will take place on September 10 and 11 and will focus on inclusivity and park stewardship. The organization’s girl scouts will also incorporate THOR’s sustainability program, “Pick Up America,” again into its stewardship efforts.
Any nearly 75,000 Girl Scouts and families expected to participate may pledge to remove trash bags from public lands through a custom-designed, co-branded Pick Up America website.
Since the partnership’s founding, Girl Scouts have pledged to remove more than 22 tons of trash from public lands, contributing to over 259 tons of trash pledged to be removed from public lands since the Pick Up America program launched in 2019.
