According to a report, Kampgrounds of America (KOA) welcomed Andrew Rosenberg, the new owner of Midland/Odessa KOA Journey, to the KOA family of campgrounds.
Open year-round, Midland/Odessa KOA Journey is located at 4220 South County Road 1290 in Odessa.
KOA Journey campgrounds are located close to the byways and highways of North America and are waiting for campers who have spent a long day on the road.
KOA Journeys offer long pull-thru RV Sites that help make setup fast and easy, have well-lit after-hours check-in service, and offer a robust line of RV supplies.
Midland/Odessa KOA Journey is among more than 525 free-to-the-public KOA campgrounds within the Kampgrounds of America system in the U.S. and Canada.
Other brands in the KOA Family of Campgrounds include KOA Holidays, which serve as an excellent base camp, offering plenty of activities, and KOA Resorts, which include numerous activities run by dedicated recreation personnel with on-site food service, group meeting spaces, and much more.
According to its website, KOA Journey campgrounds are the perfect oases after a day on the road.
“Whether it’s along the way or a quick getaway, they’ve got you covered. Located near the highways and byways of North America with long Pull-thru RV Sites, they deliver convenience to the traveling camper. Pull in, ease back and take a load off.”
Rosenberg said that the campground wasn’t a KOA when he purchased it, but it had been before.
“It still had the A-frame, patios, a swimming pool, lots of KOA stuff,” Rosenberg stated in the press release. “I wanted to turn it back into a KOA.” Rosenberg has redone the bathrooms, done updates, and resurfaced the blacktop.
