As fall approaches, Spacious Skies Campgrounds highlights its range of lodging options for non-RVers across its 15 locations. From yurts to retro-style trailers, visitors can choose from a variety of accommodations to enjoy the vibrant fall colors and seasonal activities.

Ali Rasmussen, co-founder of Spacious Skies Campgrounds, highlighted the company’s commitment to ensuring guests enjoy a relaxing yet adventurous experience. “Our company and employees are all about ensuring our guests enjoy a fun but chill adventure,” Rasmussen said.

“I’m also talking about the feeling of belonging that you have when you’re surrounded by family and friends, and you know you are in a place where you are always welcome,” Rasmussen explained.

The glamping accommodations at Spacious Skies Campgrounds are designed with a “fun, cosmic theme” that resonates throughout the collection. For example, at Spacious Skies Woodland Hills in Upstate New York, the Cosmos Cottage offers a cozy retreat for up to six guests, complete with a private deck overlooking a lake and amenities such as a fully equipped kitchen and a foosball coffee table.

Continuing the retro theme, Woodland Hills also features Riverside Retro Campers that sleep between two and four guests. These retro trailers are also available at other locations, including Spacious Skies Country Oaks in New Jersey and Spacious Skies French Pond in New Hampshire.

At Spacious Skies Adirondack Peaks, larger groups can enjoy the Zodiac Lodge, which accommodates up to 14 guests. This lodge offers a rustic retreat with four bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a space for gatherings.

For those seeking a more intimate glamping experience, the Quarter Moon yurt at Spacious Skies Shenandoah Views showcases a private deck with sweeping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Located near Shenandoah National Park and other outdoor attractions, this four-person yurt provides a base for exploring the region’s natural beauty and historic sites.

In Maine, the Hercules cabin at Spacious Skies Walnut Grove offers a cozy retreat for families or groups of friends. The cabin sleeps six and provides easy access to local attractions such as Old Orchard Beach Pier and the L.L. Bean store, making it a great spot for a fall getaway.

Meanwhile, the North Star Guesthouse at Spacious Skies Belle Ridge in Tennessee provides a serene retreat for those looking to reconnect with nature. The three-bedroom guesthouse, open year-round, is located on a 500-acre campground with trails, waterfalls, and a spring-fed pond, offering plenty of opportunities for outdoor exploration.

According to a press release, the Fall Color Trail, a 2,500-mile route connecting the campgrounds from Maine to Georgia, remains a highlight for many RVers. This route allows campers to follow the changing colors of autumn from early September through mid-November, with opportunities to explore apple-picking farms, historic sites, and outdoor adventures along the way.
