Applications are now open for the Mike Molino RV Learning Center College Scholarship Program, offering a $2,500 award for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The scholarship is available to undergraduate students who are either employed in the RV industry, dependents of an RV industry employee, or pursuing a career in the sector. The deadline to apply is July 11.
The scholarship aims to support the next generation of RV industry professionals, marking the 34th award since its inception.
According to a press release, the program is funded through contributions from Joanne and Newt Kindlund, co-founders of Holiday RV Superstores. Kindlund continues to play an active role in the industry and serves as director emeritus on the RV Learning Center’s board of directors.
In 2024, the Kindlund family increased its contribution to the scholarship program, bringing the total endowment to $370,000. Since the scholarship’s establishment in 2000, the RV Learning Center has distributed $82,500 in financial aid to 33 students, reinforcing its commitment to workforce development in the industry.
To qualify, applicants must maintain a minimum 2.8 GPA and achieve either a 1040 SAT score or a 22 ACT composite score. Eligible students must be rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors at an accredited four-year college or university.
In addition to academic qualifications, applicants are required to submit a 500-word essay outlining their career objectives, a completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form, and evidence of financial independence through self-funded educational expenses.
All required materials must be received by the RV Learning Center no later than July 11. The program provides a critical opportunity for students with a vested interest in the RV industry to receive financial assistance toward their education.
The RV Learning Center has made promotional materials, including downloadable posters, available to dealerships and industry employers to help spread awareness. The application form and additional details can be accessed through the RV Learning Center’s website.
The RV Learning Center is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
