RVshare has recently unveiled the winners of its annual Campers’ Choice Awards, popularly known as “The Campies.” These awards were initiated to recognize campgrounds across the US for their significant contributions to the RV, camping, and travel sectors.
The winners were chosen based on numerous nominations received earlier this summer, with the final decision made by a panel of RV travel experts, influencers, spokespeople, editors, and others deeply involved in the outdoor and RV travel space.
The Campies awards have six competing categories, and the winners for 2023 include Harvest Hosts for Best Alternative Camping Experience, Verde Ranch RV Resort in Camp Verde, AZ for Best Family-Friendly Campground, and Camp Fimfo Texas Hill Country in New Braunfels, TX for Best Waterfront Campground.
The Best National Park Campground award went to Many Glacier Campground in Browning, MT, while Camp Margaritaville in Auburndale, FL was recognized as the Best Luxury RV Resort. Malibu RV Park in Malibu, CA clinched the award for Best View.
Earlier this summer, RVshare welcomed nominations in these six categories to spotlight campgrounds across the US. Through this program, RVshare has been able to highlight the top properties across the nation and acknowledge their outstanding commitment to the RV, camping, and travel industries.
The annual award program’s mission is to assist travelers in planning the best RV camping experience while also recognizing these remarkable campgrounds and their dedicated teams, according to a press release.
RVshare invited all past, present, and future RV travelers, renters, campground owners, employees, and travel enthusiasts to nominate their favorite campgrounds in various categories.
The nominations concluded on August 26, after which the top finalists were presented to a carefully chosen group of panelists to select the winners. This year’s panelists comprised a diverse range of individuals deeply involved in the outdoor and RV travel space.
