RVDA Names 27 RV Manufacturers and Brands for Dealer Satisfaction Awards

The RV Dealers Association (RVDA) has recognized 27 recreational vehicle manufacturers and brands with Quality Circle Awards for achieving high dealer satisfaction scores in its 32nd annual Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI) survey, which collected 2,992 brand ratings from 602 dealership locations in the United States and Canada.

To qualify, manufacturers and brands had to receive at least 15 dealer responses and earn an overall dealer satisfaction score of 4.25 or higher on a five-point scale.

The survey was conducted from June through September and evaluated dealer satisfaction across reliability and quality, parts, warranty and sales.

The awards cover manufacturers and brands in both the towable and motorized RV segments. Among towable manufacturers, recipients include Airstream, Aliner, Alliance RV, Brinkley RV, Coachmen, Ember, Forest River, Grand Design, Gulf Stream, Heartland, Jayco, Keystone RV, KZ RV, nuCamp, Venture RV and Winnebago.

Motorized RV award recipients include Coachmen, Dynamax, East to West, Entegra, Forest River, Grand Design, Grech, Jayco, Leisure Travel Vans/Triple E, Midwest Automotive Designs, Newmar, Pleasure-Way, Renegade, Tiffin, Thor Motor Coach and Winnebago.

Several manufacturers received recognition for multiple brands or product lines. Forest River’s towable recipients include Ahara, Blackthorn, Cedar Creek, Riverstone, Sandpiper, Sierra, Flagstaff, Puma, Rockwood and Surveyor, among others. Keystone RV’s recognized brands include Alpine, Avalanche, Bullet, Cougar, Montana, Passport, Springdale and Sprinter. Grand Design received recognition for Foundation, Imagine, Influence, Momentum, Reflection, Solitude and Transcend.

“The DSI results recognize top-rated manufacturers in several important areas of dealer and customer support, which is more important than ever as the industry works to reduce Repair Event Cycle Time,” RVDA President Phil Ingrassia said in a press release.

RVDA received responses representing an average of 4.97 brand ratings per dealership. The association said the survey results provide dealer feedback on manufacturer support across four core areas: reliability and quality, parts availability, warranty and sales.

Ingrassia thanked participating dealers and congratulated manufacturers that earned the awards. The association will present the Quality Circle Awards during the RV Dealers Convention/Expo at Paris Las Vegas. A summary of the survey’s aggregate results is scheduled to appear in the November issue of RV Executive Today.

RVDA is the national association representing RV retailers, including dealerships, RV rental operators and RV aftermarket sales and service locations. RVDA of Canada is a volunteer federation of provincial and regional associations representing RV dealers across Canada.
