The National RV Dealers Association (RVDA) has launched the on-demand portion of the RV Dealers Convention/Expo. Dealership employees and other industry stakeholders can now access educational sessions and exhibitor information at www.rvda.org/convention.
The virtual portion can be accessed through January 31, 2022. The online convention provides information on topics that cover important areas of dealer operations.
As per RVDA’s announcement, the on-demand content is available 24/7, featuring key speakers from the 2021 RV Dealers Convention/Expo as well as popular Vendor Training +Plus sessions. The online exhibit hall includes top RV companies seeking to forge partnerships with RV dealers.
There are currently 17 workshops available, with more than seven hours of dealer management education, including several bonus sessions that were unavailable during the live event.
RVDA, RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center thanked the speakers and vendors who provided on-demand content.
A sampling of some of the on-demand workshops offered include:
- How to Navigate a Historic Opportunity in Your Service Department, by McKay Allen
- The Unknown Road Ahead: Understanding the 2022 Economic Outlook and Its Impact on Your Dealership, by Vijay Chandar
- First-Time Buyers: Strategies to Build Trust and De-Escalate Problems, by Tom Kline
Eight Dealer Training +Plus sessions will be available as well, including:
- Smarter, Faster, Better Service Department Processes that Improve Shop Productivity, by Don Reed, chief executive officer, DealerPRO RV Training
- Predicting the Future: New Data About Payments, Texting, and Buyer Behavior (from Kenect), by McKay Allen, vice president of marketing, Kenect
- Strategies for Evolving your Business Operation in an Everchanging Market, by Val Byrd, manager of customer merchandising, NTP-STAG
In addition to the educational opportunities, dealers will have access to 151 vendor booths featuring videos, catalogs, brochures, and new products and promotions. This time, virtual networking opportunities, discussion boards, and the ability to interact with other attendees will happen virtually.
Those who attended the RVDA Convention/Expo in person can access the on-demand content at no additional charge.
RVDA dealer members who did not attend in person can access the content for $49 ($99 for non-members). The platform is available to non-exhibiting associate members for $79 and to non-member industry personnel for $149.
