RVDA Chairman’s Service Award Presented to Brinkley RV Co-Founder Ron Fenech

Ron Fenech, president and co-founder of Brinkley RV, has received the RV Dealers Association Chairman’s Service Award for his role in establishing a financial relief network for dealership staff.

The award recognizes Fenech’s creation of the RV Dealership Employee Emergency Relief Program, a joint initiative between the Ron & Lisa Fenech Family Foundation and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center.

The RVDA Chairman’s Service Award is reserved for individuals who provide significant, long-term contributions to the association and the broader RV market.

“The RVDA Chairman’s Service Award recognizes individuals for significant, long-term contributions and dedicated service to the association, its members, and the RV industry,” a press release indicates.

The program provides a specialized safety net for the industry’s frontline workforce, targeting a demographic often vulnerable to regional economic shocks following natural disasters.

Jeff Hirsch, an RVDA board member and chairman of the RV Assistance Corp., presented the award to Fenech on Jan. 14 during the Florida RV Supershow.

Hirsch, who also serves as chairman of Campers In RV, represented 2025 RVDA Chairman of the Board Larry Troutt III in the presentation.

The relief program offers one-time grants of up to $2,500 to current dealership employees. Eligible hardships include catastrophic incidents such as home fires, flooding, and damage from natural disasters, as well as immediate family health crises.

The program has provided emergency funding to dealership employees. It is open to all RV dealership employees, though dealership owners and principals are excluded from eligibility.

The RV Learning Center is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization supported by RV dealers, manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and other industry stakeholders who are committed to advancing dealership education and promoting a high standard of customer service through a well-trained and knowledgeable workforce.
