RV Women’s Alliance Unveils Leadership Panel Series for Women’s History Month

The RV Women’s Alliance (RVWA) announced a four-part leadership panel series in recognition of Women’s History Month, bringing together industry professionals to highlight women’s contributions across key sectors.

The virtual events, scheduled throughout March, will feature discussions with female leaders in the supplier, manufacturing, hospitality, and dealership segments of the RV industry.

According to a News and Insights report from RVIA, the series will begin on March 10 with a panel focused on suppliers, moderated by Denise Chariya of THOR Industries. Panelists include Stacy Setty, director of sales at Optronics; Liz White, director of sales at Starbrite; and Pamela VanderMel, vice president of warranty at Lippert. Each will share insights on their experiences and the evolving landscape of RV supply.

On March 17, the second panel will shift to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), with Susan Carpenter serving as moderator. Panelists include Kelly Mosher of Forest River, Brittany Raderstorf of Brinkley RV, and Michele McDermott of THOR Industries. The discussion will center on customer service, social media engagement, and human resources within the manufacturing sector.

The hospitality-focused session on March 24 will feature perspectives from Carrie Price, director of brand marketing at Harvest Hosts; Lori Severson, owner of Champions Riverside Resort and executive director of the Wisconsin Association of Campground Owners; and Dee Witting, executive director of Camping Carolinas. Kelly Miller will moderate the conversation, which will explore marketing strategies and operational best practices in RV hospitality.

The final panel on March 31 will highlight the dealership sector, moderated by Tracy Anglemeyer. Panelists include Anita Lien of RVDA Canada, Stacey Robinson of Great Canadian RV, and Laurie Hirsch of Campers Inn RV. The discussion will address dealership management, marketing strategies, and workforce development within RV sales and service.

The RV Women’s Alliance aims to foster professional growth and networking opportunities for women in the industry through initiatives such as this panel series. The webinars are open to all industry professionals at no cost, providing access to firsthand experiences and career insights from established leaders.

Each session will offer attendees the opportunity to engage with panelists, ask questions, and learn from their career journeys. The discussions will also highlight challenges and opportunities unique to women in the RV sector, aiming to inspire future leaders.
