833-FIXED-RV has launched a free nationwide 24/7 RV repair hotline designed to connect RV owners with vetted local repair shops and mobile technicians across the United States.
The service allows RV owners to call one number, describe their repair issue and provide their location.
833-FIXED-RV then contacts repair providers on the owner’s behalf and matches the customer with a screened professional who handles the affected system in that area.
RV owners do not pay for the hotline service and instead pay the repair shop directly for the work performed. Jobs completed through a registered 833-FIXED-RV partner also carry a $2,500 workmanship guarantee and include a $25 gift card.
The service is also intended to address a recurring challenge for campground and RV park operators, whose front desks often receive requests from guests seeking repair assistance.
According to 833-FIXED-RV, operators can provide guests with the hotline number without incurring a cost for either the campground or the RV owner.
“Why [does] it matter to campground and park operators: front desks field the “who can fix this?” question constantly, and most have no answer beyond an aging phone list. A guest whose air conditioner fails on a Friday either gets help or checks out early,” the press release indicates.
833-FIXED-RV is also developing its technician network through partnerships with the RV Technicians Association of America and MobileRVService.com. The partnerships are intended to expand access to working mobile technicians who can provide service to RV owners in different locations.
