The Mike Molino RV Learning Center has added a new online course for parts managers to its curriculum, which is designed to help dealers and fixed operations meet the needs of a new generation of customers.
The Parts Manager Online Course aims to provide professionals with the skills and knowledge they need to be successful in their roles and includes modules on managing customer relations, managing human resources, and managing financial resources.
In addition, the RV Learning Center also has a Parts Specialist Online Course, which covers topics such as store merchandising, inventory management, and marketing parts and accessories.
The RV Dealer’s Association (RVDA), the association responsible for the learning center, in a press release said that parts managers should consider taking both courses “to benefit from being reminded of the core principles necessary to create loyal customers.”
“The RV Learning Center offers five fixed operations training and certification programs that will help the RV industry improve its ability to support customers,” said RVDA President Phil Ingrassia. “All these educational efforts are geared toward helping the industry improve its record on Repair Event Cycle Time (RECT).”
Both courses are interactive, with audio voice-over and progress checks, and conclude with a comprehensive final assessment.
The courses cost $150 per student and are intended to prepare professionals for parts specialist and manager certification through the RV Learning Center, which is available for an additional fee.
Additionally, the course materials for both the Parts Manager and Parts Specialist courses are based on a comprehensive analysis of the tasks and responsibilities of these roles, developed by The Ohio State University’s Center on Education and Training for Employment in collaboration with subject matter experts from the RV industry and organized by the RV Learning Center.
