RV Dealers Convention to Highlight F&I Strategies for Midsize Dealers

RV dealership professionals attending the 2025 RV Dealers Convention/Expo in Las Vegas will have the opportunity to participate in a workshop designed to address common challenges in finance and insurance (F&I) operations.

The session, “F&I at the Top: Five Steps for the Midsize Dealer,” will be led by Andrés Camacho, director of training for RVsurance, on Thursday, November 13, at 4:00 p.m.

The workshop will focus on helping dealers identify pitfalls that can lead to underutilized F&I profit centers.

According to the session description, issues such as late involvement in the sales process, poor internal communication, and misaligned incentives often reduce the effectiveness of F&I departments.

“F&I at the Top: Five Steps for the Midsize Dealer” will outline five common pitfalls that hurt both profitability and the customer experience.

The session will also provide real-world insights and practical solutions to help streamline processes, empower dealership teams, and structure more profitable deals.

The timing of this workshop reflects broader challenges in the marketplace, where economic pressures have heightened the need for dealerships to maximize efficiency and profitability across all departments.

For business owners, particularly those managing midsize operations, F&I often represents an underleveraged revenue stream.

Strengthening F&I performance can help balance softer sales periods while improving customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.

The RV Dealers Convention/Expo will run from November 10–14, 2025, at Paris Las Vegas. The annual event is organized by the RV Dealers Association (RVDA) of the U.S., RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center

It brings together dealership personnel from across North America to exchange ideas, attend educational sessions, and connect with industry leaders and potential partners through the Expo.

In addition to F&I, the event will provide resources and strategies for optimizing other dealership departments, including fixed operations. For companies interested in sponsorship or partnership opportunities, RVDA has made contacts available to explore engagement options.

For RV dealership owners and managers, the workshop and broader convention program offer tools to address operational challenges, adapt to changing economic conditions, and strengthen business performance in a competitive industry.
