RoverPass Adds Event Ticketing Feature to Campground Management Platform

RoverPass has launched event ticketing, a new feature within its campground reservation and management platform that enables campground owners and operators to create events, sell tickets, issue digital tickets, and track event-related revenue through a single system.

The feature is designed to help RV parks and campgrounds generate additional revenue through organized programming while simplifying event management workflows. The launch comes ahead of the summer travel season, when many campgrounds experience peak occupancy.

According to RoverPass, event ticketing allows operators to create and manage a range of activities, including live music events, guided tours, holiday programming, workshops, classes, and day-pass offerings.

The feature also includes an event series function that allows recurring events to be scheduled across multiple dates without requiring operators to recreate each event individually.

“Summer is when most parks are running at capacity, but the real revenue opportunity is in the other eight months,” Ravi Parikh, CEO and founder of RoverPass, said in a press release.

“Event Ticketing gives owners a way to create demand, not just accommodate it. A park that runs events year-round is not as dependent on the calendar as one that simply waits for the busy season to arrive,” Parikh added.

The new capability is integrated into the existing RoverPass Owner Portal. Campground teams can create events by entering details such as event names, descriptions, photos, locations, dates, and attendance capacity.

Operators can also configure multiple ticket types with individual pricing, inventory limits, order restrictions, and sales windows.

Guests purchasing tickets online can add them during checkout and receive digital tickets containing ticket codes after completing their purchase.

The platform also supports ticket sales at campground front desks, allowing staff to process on-site purchases while tracking the source of each order through the administrative system.

Other features include the ability to require ticket holder names for classes, tours, and other limited-capacity experiences.

Operators can also monitor ticket sales, revenue, orders, and event check-in progress without using separate software.

“Campground owners told us they were managing events in spreadsheets, separate ticketing tools, and manual front-desk workarounds,” Angie Tuarez, product leader at RoverPass, said.

“Event Ticketing brings the full workflow into the platform the team is already using: event setup, ticket inventory, online checkout, digital tickets, and event revenue in one place,” Tuarez added.

RoverPass said the feature can also support off-season programming, allowing campgrounds to organize activities such as harvest festivals, holiday markets, guided nature programs, and themed weekend events through the same reservation and management platform.
