The Ron & Lisa Fenech Family Foundation has pledged $500,000 to the RV Learning Center, marking a contribution towards the establishment of the RV Dealership Employee Emergency Relief Program. The program is open to all RV dealership employees; however, dealership owners and principals are not eligible to apply.

This initiative, a collaborative effort between the Fenech Family Foundation and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center, aims to provide financial assistance to RV dealership employees facing “hardships due to natural disasters and other catastrophic events,” offering one-time grants of up to $2,500.

According to a press release, the grants are intended to help cover expenses or loss of income resulting from events such as natural disasters, severe health issues within the family, or other catastrophic incidents like home fires or flooding.

Ron Fenech, president and co-founder of Brinkley RV, expressed a personal connection to the cause, citing his family’s own experiences with emergency financial assistance.

“Our own family has seen first-hand how emergency financial assistance can make a big difference to families and individuals experiencing a health crisis or other catastrophic event. The RV business has been very good to me and my family. This program is a way for us to give something back to the industry,” Fenech explained.

Jeff Pastore, chairman of the board for the RV Learning Center, echoed Fenech’s sentiments, emphasizing the core values of the RV Learning Center.

“Helping dealership employees is a core value of the RV Learning Center,” Pastore said. “We thank Ron, and the Fenech family, for supporting dealership employees through this special emergency relief program that will provide some financial relief during difficult times.”

The program’s application process has been streamlined for accessibility, with forms available online through the RV Learning Center’s website. Approved funds will be directly disbursed to either the employee or a designated service provider.

The RV Learning Center, a 501c3 charitable organization, plays a role in this initiative. Supported by a broad range of RV industry members, including dealers, manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors, the center is dedicated to advancing dealership education and maintaining a “high level of customer service.”
