Registration Opens for RV Industry Regulatory and Safety Compliance Seminar in Indiana

Registration is now open for the Regulatory and Safety Compliance Seminar, a members-only event scheduled for July 29 at the Lerner Theatre in Elkhart, Indiana, with attendance offered at no cost to members of the RV Industry Association (RVIA).

The half-day seminar will run from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Eastern time and is designed for professionals with compliance or safety responsibilities, as well as those seeking to better understand safety and recall processes within the recreational vehicle sector.

“The Regulatory & Safety Compliance Seminar is coming back this summer! The event is designed to assist RV Industry Association members who have safety and recall process responsibilities, are involved in gathering data related to Early Warning Reporting (EWR), or want to learn more about NHTSA and Transport Canada regulations impacting the RV Industry,” the announcement indicates.

The program will feature a keynote presentation by Will Godfrey, director of mobility, automation, and safety at Thompson Hine LLP, followed by panel discussions led by industry compliance experts.

Panel topics will include identifying a safety issue, sustaining a safety culture, responsible use of artificial intelligence in regulatory and safety compliance, and collaboration with dealers on recall management.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage directly with panelists through discussions and questions during the event.

Panelists have not yet been announced and are expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

The seminar is supported by sponsors including Winnebago Industries, Forest River, THOR Industries, Lippert, and Dexter, which enables complimentary access for association members.

Registration will remain open through July 24.

The event will take place at the Lerner Theatre, located at 410 South Main Street in Elkhart, Indiana. Breakfast will be provided to attendees.
