Two Capes Lookout Taps Horizon Outdoor Hospitality for Full-Service Management

A coastal glamping retreat on the Oregon Coast has appointed a new third-party operator to oversee full-service property management as it moves into its first full year of operations.

Two Capes Lookout announced that Horizon Outdoor Hospitality has been selected to manage the 58-acre property, with responsibilities covering operations, marketing, brand positioning and revenue performance.

The retreat opened in February 2025 and is located on a coastal bluff between Cape Lookout and Cape Kiwanda. The site includes geodesic domes and mirrored cabins designed to provide private lodging integrated with the surrounding forest and ocean landscape, according to the announcement.

According to a press release, Scott Foos, managing partner of hospitality and strategy at Horizon Outdoor Hospitality, said the company’s role will focus on operational execution and long-term performance.

“We are honored to begin our management engagement with Two Capes Lookout and support the continued growth of this extraordinary destination,” Foos said. “We look forward to stewarding that vision through operational excellence and strategic revenue and marketing initiatives that support long-term strength and sustainability.”

Horizon Outdoor Hospitality said it brings more than 20 years of operational experience across boutique outdoor lodging and RV resorts, with established operating roots in Oregon. Its portfolio includes the launch and management of Bay Point Landing beginning in 2019, as well as its engagement with Dundee Hills RV Resort in the Willamette Valley wine region.

Kevin Gindlesperger, founder of Two Capes Lookout, said the property was developed to provide a guest experience centered on the coastal environment and conservation of the land.

“Two Capes Lookout is a project born from our profound love for the coastal landscape and its extraordinary natural beauty,” Gindlesperger said. “As we look to the future, we are excited to partner with Horizon Outdoor Hospitality to elevate the coastal Glamping experience at Two Capes. The experienced team at Horizon is just what Two Capes Lookout needs at this stage of our journey.”
