Open Roads, a diesel fuel savings platform for recreational vehicle travelers, announced Thursday (February 12) that Gina Leeper has been appointed president and chief executive officer, effective immediately.
Leeper will oversee the company’s strategic direction, growth initiatives, and expansion of products and partnerships designed to help RV travelers save on fuel and other travel-related services.
“Gina has been an integral part of Open Roads’ growth and success,” said Bruce Whitehead, chairman of the board for Open Roads. “Her leadership, industry knowledge, and deep understanding of our customers make her the ideal person to lead Open Roads into its next chapter.”
Founded as part of the accounting department at TSD Logistics in 1980, Open Roads evolved into a standalone company in 2019 after RV travelers requested access to diesel fuel discounts.
Today, the company serves more than 155,000 members and operates a nationwide network of over 3,800 fuel locations.
Leeper, who became executive director of Open Roads in January 2024, has led marketing, financial accounting, customer experience, and banking relationships while collaborating on business development and expansion of the fuel merchant network.
Prior to that, she served as controller of TSD Logistics, helping lay the groundwork for what became Open Roads.
Under Leeper’s leadership, the company plans to expand beyond fuel savings, building offerings such as Open Roads VIP Access, Open Roads Insurance, a partnership with Innovative Toll Solutions, and Open Roads Roadside Assistance.
Leeper said she is committed to continuing the company’s mission of helping travelers save money and travel smarter.
