The Freedom Group announced the acquisition of Arrowhead Lake RV Park & Campground in Williamstown, Ohio, which will soon undergo significant upgrades to enhance visitor experience.
The Freedom Group, based in Nashville, Tennessee, is led by CEO Kevin Barnett and Cameron Bailey. Both executives bring extensive experience in business operations, property management, marketing, and communications. The acquisition was secured under favorable owner financing terms.
Arrowhead Campground has been under family ownership. The campground features updated infrastructure, including electrical systems upgraded in 2020, enhanced septic systems, and renovated laundry and bathhouse facilities.
To elevate the guest experience and attract new visitors, plans for Arrowhead Lake RV Park include upgrades to septic systems, laundry facilities, and other amenities. Additionally, The Freedom Group aims to provide better services while maintaining affordable monthly rates for current campers.
CEO Kevin Barnett expressed excitement about Arrowhead Lake RV Park’s future, stating that he believes the park’s scenic location and the company’s dedication to exceptional service will make it a top choice for campers in Ohio and beyond.

Arrowhead Lake RV Park & Campground will also feature a new website offering 24/7 live chat, user-friendly forms, email, phone, and text messaging capabilities. The website will enable campers to make online payments, schedule tours, and manage their accounts.
Another aspect of the acquisition is the emphasis on guest feedback. The Freedom Group emphasizes a philosophy of “Community Redefined,” where residents have an active role in shaping their vacation community. Through surveys, social media engagement, and direct feedback, guests can suggest future developments for the park.
While some cost increases are expected, current guests with active leases will experience a smooth transition. Personalized meetings are being initiated to ensure that residents are informed and comfortable with the upcoming changes and pay range options.
According to a press release, the company’s portfolio includes five manufactured housing parks in Delphos, Ohio, just 20 miles from Arrowhead Campground. This proximity optimizes operational costs and enhances overall investment returns.
