OHI has named finalists for its 2024 Awards of Excellence, with winners to be revealed tomorrow (November 5) during the Awards of Excellence Luncheon at the Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE) in Oklahoma. The awards honor parks across Small, Medium, Large, and Mega categories that exemplify high standards and innovation in outdoor hospitality.
In the Small Park category, the finalists include Aspen Grove RV Park in Utah, Big Meadow Family Campground in Tennessee, Lone Mountain Riverfront Camping in Maine, Roamstead Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, and Quilly’s Big Fish RV Park in Texas.
Medium Park finalists also include Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Columbus North in Ohio, Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp Resort: Lakes Region in New Hampshire, Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Texas, and Sun Outdoors properties in Florida and Maine.
According to OHI, the Awards of Excellence are peer-reviewed and judged. “These finalists are industry treasures—constantly elevating standards through innovative, forward-thinking practices,” OHI indicated in a LinkedIn post.
For the Large Park category, the finalists are El Campo Lost Lagoon RV Resort and Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park in Texas, Paradise Ranch RV Resort in Mississippi, Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve in California, and Savannah Lakes RV Resort in South Carolina.
In the Mega Parks category, the lineup includes Camp Margaritaville Breaux Bridge in Louisiana, Clay’s Resort Jellystone Park in Ohio, Lakewood Camping Resort in South Carolina, and Sun Outdoors locations in Virginia and South Carolina.
OHCE 2024 is a premier annual event that brings together professionals from the outdoor hospitality industry to explore trends, innovations, and best practices. Spanning three days in Oklahoma City, the conference offers a diverse program of keynotes, interactive workshops, and panel discussions, all aimed at fostering campground success and industry growth.
