Northgate Resorts Announces Innovative Management App to Streamline Daily Operations

Northgate Resorts, an operator of camping resorts in the United States, revealed the launch of a new mobile application, the Northgate Checklist App, on March 12, according to a press release.

This innovative tool is designed to enhance and streamline the daily operations of its properties. The company operates 30 award-winning camp resorts nationwide, including several Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ and Camp Fimfo locations.

“Developing our new app has been a testament to our team’s unwavering commitment to excellence, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to roll out this tool,” Tessa McCrackin, chief marketing officer of Northgate Resorts, said in the press release.

The Northgate Checklist App is a solution that combines the functionalities of three third-party software platforms: Onsping, an automated business process solution; Asana, a work management platform; and Paycor, a human resources platform. This integration allows Northgate Resorts employees to efficiently manage a variety of operational tasks, including site visits, safety checks, 100-point cabin inspections, work orders, and daily aquatics inspections, all within a single platform.

“We’ve tailored a solution that will not only support our on-the-ground employees to be more efficient and organized but also support streamlining our portfolio operations across the country,” McCrackin added.

One of the key features of the Northgate Checklist App is its capability to document detailed documentation of inspections, with descriptions, photos, and videos. In instances where inspections reveal standards are not met, the app automatically generates tasks within Asana, assigning them to the relevant personnel for prompt resolution.

Northgate Resorts is a family-owned real estate enterprise with a significant presence in the camping resort industry. Its portfolio includes 30 award-winning camp resorts across 16 states, with 10 of these being the top-grossing camp resorts in their respective states. 

Annually, Northgate Resorts welcomes over 500,000 guests, providing memorable experiences to families from various locations across the United States

In 2021, Northgate Resorts introduced Camp Fimfo, a new brand of Camp-Resorts distinguished by its playful personality and dedication to delivering unique family experiences.
