Meyer Distributing, a company in the automotive specialty products distribution industry, announced the opening of a new crossdock facility in Bismarck, North Dakota. The site will be directly supplied by Meyer’s Minneapolis, Minnesota distribution hub, which holds an extensive inventory of automotive accessories, crash and collision parts, 4×4/off-road products, and RV and trailer components.
The expansion aims to enhance service efficiency and product availability in the Upper Midwest. The new facility will enable Meyer to improve delivery times and meet growing demand across the region.
“Meyer is your source for Truck Equipment,” Chauncey Altstadt, Meyer’s Commercial/Fleet/Snow & Ice sales manager, said in a press release. “Whether servicing oilfield trucks or outfitting service vans or moving snow, we’ve got the inventory to complete your job quickly.”
Jeff Braun, CEO of Meyer Distributing, also emphasized the strategic importance of the new location. “The increased frequency to the Western half of the state will provide greater availability and more reliable delivery service,” Braun stated. He expressed gratitude to Meyer’s customers, acknowledging their role in the company’s growth.
Braun highlighted Meyer’s unique position in the industry as a family-owned, independent business. “We appreciate the support customers have given us over the years. Meyer is one of the last fully independent, family-owned businesses left in the industry, and this has always separated us from the competition. Our customers are our livelihood, and we work to earn their trust every day!”
