Newbook and OHI announced the continuation and expansion of their pioneering event, the Outdoor Hospitality Innovators Summit.
Initially launched in Kansas City before the Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo (OHCE) 2023, the summit is set to make a return at OHCE2024 in Oklahoma City. This decision comes in response to feedback from attendees. Consequently, the summit will evolve into an online mini-series, offering educational and insightful sessions on a quarterly basis.
“100% of our attendees indicated they want to join the Innovators Summit again, and they wanted it more regularly,” Blake Collins, Newbook’s chief growth office, said in a press release.
The first episode of the mini-series is scheduled to feature Blake Collins as the host. He will interview park owners Amir Harpaz and Courtney Mauldin about leveraging integrations in their operations to enhance efficiency and generate additional revenue. The discussion will focus on how integrating technology can automate traditionally manual processes, reduce labor costs, and address staffing challenges.
We’re so proud to have delivered such an engaging event and we’re excited to connect with the community each quarter and empower them through education. We absolutely love to facilitate peer-to-peer learning, so expect to hear from special guests as we share ideas to inspire growth in each other’s businesses,” Collins said.
According to the press release, the summit and its associated mini-series aim to bring together industry leaders, change-makers, and innovators to discuss trends and advancements that are shaping the future of outdoor hospitality.
“We were thrilled to co-host the Outdoor Hospitality Innovators Summit as part of OHCE and we are looking forward to expanding the content throughout the year with this mini-series. Everyone can learn from this unique content, and OHI members will get something exclusive from the mini-series accessible only in their member portals. This content is going to play an integral part of OHCE again this year in Oklahoma City at the in-person Summit, and we are extremely excited!” David Basler, OHI’s chief strategy officer, said.
