In a strategic effort to provide a unique and cost-effective marketing platform for outdoor hospitality businesses, Merchantry Tourism, LLC and Brand Connect Innovations, LLC are partnering to co-host the Tourism Info Center at The Great New York State Fair for the third year in a row, set to occur from August 23 to September 4, 2023.

The Tourism Info Center, an annual hub at the fair that typically attracts around one million visitors, is primed to distribute promotional literature from a broad range of destinations across the United States and beyond its borders.

This initiative creates a dynamic opportunity for tourism-oriented businesses and organizations to put their brand in the spotlight, directly reaching a vast and diverse audience.

With this venture, Merchantry Tourism and Brand Connect Innovations are carving a distinct path in marketing for the outdoor hospitality and tourism sector.

Suzanne Hopkins, Merchantry Tourism vice president of Client Services & Marketing, underscores the broad scope of entities that could benefit from this opportunity, including “destination marketing organizations, chambers of commerce, attractions, major events, museums, lodging, campgrounds.”

For private campground owners and RV park operators, this platform presents a significant opportunity to showcase their unique offerings.

With the rapid growth of RV travel and camping experiences, particularly in the wake of the pandemic, participating in this initiative could offer a significant competitive edge.

An exhibition at the Tourism Info Center can provide exposure to potential tourists seeking their next outdoor adventure, effectively driving more traffic to their locations and boosting their revenue streams.

Starting at $250, interested parties can have their rack cards and brochures displayed, while oversized brochures and magazines can be accommodated for $395.

Furthermore, consortiums have the option to reserve an entire kiosk, thus opening a new door for a greater promotional reach, all under their unique branding.

Merchantry Tourism, LLC is the brainchild of Lisa and Don Bennett, Jr., who are steadfast in their mission to provide professional, cost-effective marketing solutions to their clients. They also operate the Conesus Lake Campground in the scenic Finger Lakes region of New York.

Brand Connect Innovations, LLC is a testament to Dawn Borchert’s dedication and expertise in the travel and tourism industry. Since its inception in 2016, Brand Connect has been providing an array of services such as literature racking, transportation, distribution, and storage, leveraging Borchert’s 30 years of experience.
