Manufacturing Day 2022, also known as MFG Day, will take place on October 7, Friday. It is the manufacturing industry’s biggest annual opportunity to inspire the next generation to start a career in modern manufacturing.
It will have a series of focused events to promote manufacturing to students, parents, and educators from the first Friday of October until the end of the month, as per the News & Insights report of the RV Industry Association (RVIA).
Celebrating its 12th year, MFG Day is an initiative of the Manufacturing Institute with its founding partner, the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association. The Institute grows and supports the manufacturing industry’s skilled workers for the advancement of modern manufacturing.
The Institute’s diverse initiatives support women, veterans, students, and workers through skills training programs, community building, and supporting the advancement of their careers in manufacturing.
The Institute executes MFG Day at the local level, supported by thousands of manufacturers as they host students, teachers, parents, job seekers, and other local community members at open houses designed to showcase modern manufacturing technology and careers.
MFG Day celebrates those who proudly stand behind goods and services made in America, and the RV industry has every reason to join the party. RV Manufacturers, and their suppliers, continue to develop products and unlock new technologies that grow our economy.
The industry creates jobs through entrepreneurship, and competitiveness has been a key component of the revitalization of American manufacturing.
