Can one truly combine working and having fun? Come Wednesday, members of the outdoor hospitality industry can do just that at the first-ever Campground Owners Expo (COE) taking place in Branson, Missouri.
Vendors and park owners can share the holiday cheer as they get together and grow their network from December 15 to 18 at the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel.
In an interview with Modern Campground back in September, COE Co-Founder Lori Severson (Severson & Associates) said park owners have a chance to meet, engage, and network with successful business owners during the show.
The expo will take place at the Branson Convention Center in Branson, Missouri, from December 15 to 18.
Organized by Lori Severson and Bud Styer (Bud Styer & Associates), COE aims to gather campground owners from all states where they can receive industry-specific education, learn about the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC), and build a robust state association—all while exploring fun-filled Branson.
The interactive and engaging trade show will be an entirely different experience for both vendors and campground owners, Severson said.
“So one of the things that’s very different about this show is that we have opportunities to go behind the scenes to all these different venues and actually learn a little bit about how they were conceived—how they started, the way that they get guests into their venue, how they keep their family working together, how they choose and pick their staff, and create the loyalty that keeps some of those folks together for centuries,” the co-founder told Modern Campground in September.
Over a hundred outdoor industry vendors will be attending the Branson trade show, more than enough for park owners to put money back into their business.
Over 200 attendees will also get to “hear from people who have actually made it” with the lineup of speakers. They can expect a solid conversation about understanding and figuring out a goal for their campgrounds.
When it comes to fun, the organizers mean business. They teamed up with Commercial Recreation Specialists (CRS) to prepare an artificial beach area for their large presenting sponsors. The expo will not only be educational, but fun too with drinks served on the “beach,” putting the “fun” in fundamental learning.
The Campground Owners Expo (COE) is owned by management, training, and consulting firm Severson & Associates. The event was created to give campground owners numerous networking opportunities.
