The outdoor hospitality sector is buzzing with anticipation as the 2023 Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE2023) releases its full schedule. This year’s event promises to be a transformative experience, not just as a discussion platform but as a guiding light for the future of the industry.

Set to take place from November 6-9, OHCE 2023 is shaping up to be an indispensable event for private campground owners and RV park operators. The conference is designed to address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by these stakeholders in a rapidly evolving landscape.

OHCE 2023 is bringing together prominent figures from the outdoor hospitality sector. Organized by the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (National ARVC), the conference will feature Paul Bambei, National ARVC’s president and CEO.

Other industry luminaries, including Toby O’Rourke of Kampgrounds of America, Inc. (KOA), Rafael Correa from Blue Water Development Corp., Amir Harpaz of Harp Development, Ali Rasmussen of Spacious Skies Campgrounds, and Todd Wynne-Perry from AutoCamp, will share their insights on various topics. These discussions aim to provide invaluable perspectives for private campground owners and operators, addressing the evolving demands of the industry.

The event kicks off on November 5 with registration, setting the tone for a series of enriching sessions. November 6 will see participants diving deep into Takeaway Tours A & B, followed by a grand Welcome Reception at the College Basketball Experience, offering attendees a chance to mingle and share insights.

The subsequent day, November 7, is packed with knowledge-sharing sessions. The opening keynote, “Choose Your Story, Change Your Life: Rewriting the Stories You Tell Yourself,” is expected to inspire attendees to approach their businesses with renewed vigor.

Discussions will also delve into the future of outdoor hospitality, offering a fresh perspective on where the industry is headed.

A lunch masterclass will provide insights into creating a DEI roadmap for campgrounds, ensuring inclusivity and diversity in operations. The day will culminate with an evening of networking at The Midland Theatre, a perfect setting for forging new partnerships.

November 8 promises to be equally enlightening. The advocacy panel will shed light on pressing industry issues, while sessions on the ethics of radical hospitality will provide a fresh perspective on guest relations. The day will wrap up with the “Around the Campfire” closing session, offering reflections on the event’s takeaways.

The final day, November 9, is designed to provide attendees with practical tools and insights. From exploring the expo hall to engaging in hosted buyer meetings, participants will have a plethora of opportunities to learn and grow. The day will also feature unique sessions like puppy cuddling, offering a blend of relaxation and networking. The event will conclude with a closing reception in Oklahoma City, marking the end of a transformative journey.

For private campground owners and RV park operators, OHCE2023 is more than just a conference. It’s an opportunity to gain insights, network with industry peers, and prepare for the future. The event’s comprehensive schedule reflects its commitment to addressing the specific needs of these stakeholders, ensuring they are equipped to navigate the challenges and seize opportunities for a better campground industry.
