Mike Molino RV Learning Center Launches Online Warranty Administrator Training Program

The Mike Molino RV Learning Center introduced a new online course designed to train warranty administrators and address the needs of a new generation of RV customers.

This course provides essential training on processing RV repair orders, handling warranty claims, managing payments, maintaining customer and manufacturer/supplier relations, and checking in new units.

The warranty administrator online course takes approximately five hours to complete and offers an interactive and user-friendly experience with audio voiceovers and progress checks. It is also structured around an 11-module curriculum, each focusing on different aspects of warranty administration.

Developed in collaboration with The Ohio State University’s Center on Education and Training for Employment and RV industry experts, the course material is based on an RV warranty job and task analysis.

Completing the course prepares professionals for the RV Learning Center’s warranty administrator certification. To qualify for certification, candidates must have at least one year of experience as a warranty administrator or in a closely related role.

According to a press release, candidates must submit a certification application form along with a $199 fee and pass a timed online exam. This certification is a valuable credential for those looking to advance their careers in the RV industry.

Phil Ingrassia, RVDA president, explained that warranty administration is among the most challenging roles in a dealership.

“This training from the RV Learning Center not only prepares the students or certification, but it also helps them be ready to help customers understand warranty repairs and keep them satisfied with the service they receive,” Ingrassia said.

Enrollment for the course is open until November 30, with participants having until December 31 to complete the training.
