The Jenkins Organization, Inc. (TJO), has acquired Jellystone Park North Port Huron in Carsonville, Michigan.
According to a release, the latest transaction marks the company’s eighth Jellystone Park and 11th RV resort since launching the Great Escapes RV Resorts brand in 2019.
The team was drawn to the park for its ideal location on the east side of Michigan as well as its gorgeous views of Lake Huron. The park features nearly 400 campsites and 38 cabin rentals, including a Cabin Village, and an additional private 20-acre lake.
Despite already having enough lodging and amenities, TJO will increase offerings in both areas. “Over the next two years we will expand the Wibit lake inflatables, install a new waterpark, and add 30 cabins,” said TJO Vice President of RV Resort Operations Kelly Jones.
Jellystone Park locations are known for providing fun, family activities, and themed weekends that include everything from crafts and games to wagon rides. Birthday parties with the bears and daily appearances by Yogi Bear are also very popular.
