American Expedition Vehicles (AEV), renowned for engineering the world’s most capable overlanding rigs, has announced a partnership with Europe’s Bliss Mobil to design a world-class adventuring vehicle.
The new AEV Bliss Mobil Prospector XL is a combination of AEV’s off-road prowess and Bliss Mobil’s luxurious 13-ft. high bed cabin, creating a four-wheeler that can traverse the harshest terrains while offering a comfortable, modern living habitat.
The AEV Bliss Mobil Prospector XL is a testament to the shared commitment to quality between AEV and Bliss Mobil. According to AEV’s Matt Feldermann, the partnership made perfect sense as both brands share a similar commitment to quality in design, engineering, and product versatility.
The result is one of the most capable and uniquely livable adventure vehicles currently available in the marketplace, according to a press release.
The 13-ft. cabin unit of the Prospector XL offers five custom layout options. The particular truck showcased is fitted with Bliss Mobil’s High Bed Type 4 layout. The large, comfortable bed can be electronically lowered, raised, and leveled.
The bed is located above the seating area, which can be converted into an additional bed, comfortably sleeping four people. The extra space in the living area is used for a fully equipped bathroom that includes a marine-grade ceramic yachting water closet and waterproof cabinets.
Storage is a high priority in Bliss Mobil’s design. The grand cabinet in the kitchen is large enough to fit an optional washing machine or other large appliances. The kitchen is fitted with a Fenix countertop, plenty of additional storage capacity, and a microwave featuring an oven and grill setup.
Two induction hubs and a stove hood ensure that the kitchen is fully capable of cooking off-grid. Additional storage boxes can be anchored on the (sub)frame as well as on the back of the unit to further maximize storage capability.
The AEV chassis that the Bliss Mobil living unit is anchored on is one of the strongest, most capable pieces of off-roading technology in operation today.
The truck is configured with an AEV front bumper, HighMark front fender flares, 2” front suspension lift, heavy-duty wheels & tires, splashguards, snorkel, intercooler skid plate, speedometer recalibration, AEV branding package, and AEV embroidered headrests.
