Louisiana ARVC Still Accepting Sponsors, Board Nominations, and More for Kinder Conference

Rich in opportunities and fun, the 2022 LARVC Conference in Kinder, Louisiana is only less than two weeks away. To keep the opportunities for the members flowing, the Louisiana Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (LARVC) is not closing sponsorship slots just yet.

From April 10 to 12, Coushatta Casino Resort will accommodate industry members from all over Louisiana. A trade show, educational sessions, auction, and more await attendees.

This year’s conference was made possible by industry supporters and sponsors such as Leavitt Hospitality & Recreation Insurance, Allen Parish Tourist Commission, Land-O-Pines Family Campground, Lakeview Park & Beach, and Yogi Bear Jellystone Park. Those interested in sponsoring can still do so, as per Lisa Thibodaux, the association’s executive director.

In an email sent to its members, Thibodaux announced that LARVC is open to arranging for partial sponsorships.

“It is great to see your business being highlighted and it is a tax deduction for sponsorships!” the email reads.

LARVC is also seeking items for the auction that will take place at the Golf Clubhouse.

A board election is also set to take place. Board nominations are still open until April 1 for qualified members to fill seven spots including the president, vice president, treasurer/secretary, and four non-executive board positions.

The conference will not only bind industry members together but will also recognize parks. An award to be given at the conference is for Best Print Brochure and the association reminded participants to bring 20 copies of their brochure so it may be voted on during the general membership meeting on Tuesday morning.

The trade show is scheduled to begin on the second day. Exhibitors for this year include Cold River Mining, Spot2Nite, The Dyrt, RoverPass, RV Entergy Automation, and more.

Members have much to look forward to with entertainment provided by Grammy award winner Wayne Toups ready to give everyone a foot-stompin’ good time. There will also be networking opportunities where attendees can share stories with other park owners over golf or cooking and cocktail demonstrations.
