Lippert’s Pioneering Role in RV Technical Institute’s Level 3 Curriculum: Elevating RV Technician Training to New Heights

The RV Technical Institute‘s (RVTI) technician training program stands as the RV industry’s gold standard. With a curriculum developed in partnership with top RV manufacturers and supplier leaders, it offers the most influential RV technician training ever built.

The program’s Level 3 specialty training, designed for technicians who have completed Levels 1 and 2, focuses on advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs of specific RV components.

Lippert, a key training provider for the Institute, plays a pivotal role in this advanced training. Their Level 3 Certification program, comprising over 30 courses, blends in-person and online learning opportunities.

Each course provides a thorough overview of RV systems, their components, operations, and effective troubleshooting techniques, catering to the evolving needs of RV technicians, as per the News & Insights report of the RV Industry Association (RVIA).

Lippert’s approach to technical training is unique. Their in-person classes, conducted at the Institute, offer hands-on scenarios that simulate common troubleshooting queries. For those unable to attend in Indiana, Lippert hosts Regional Training Seminars nationwide.

Additionally, their online courses, mirroring the in-person content, provide access to a vast library of technical documentation and videos, enabling learning at one’s own pace.

The hands-on learning experiences in Lippert’s courses are particularly noteworthy. These scenarios are designed to reflect real-world challenges technicians face, ensuring that the training is not only theoretical but also practical and applicable.

This approach significantly enhances the learning experience, preparing technicians for the complexities they will encounter in their professional roles.

The caliber of instructors at Lippert, led by Dan Sacha, adds immense value to the training programs. These instructors are not just qualified but bring a passion for RV systems and years of industry experience.

Their deep understanding of the subject matter and commitment to quality education ensures that students leave with a solid foundation in RV systems.

Lippert’s instructors play a crucial role in the course development process. They are involved in designing and creating the mock-ups used in classrooms, ensuring that the training material is both comprehensive and up-to-date.

This involvement of experienced professionals in course development is a testament to Lippert’s dedication to providing high-quality training.

Lippert’s training programs have made a significant impact. They are the sole supplier offering courses in all five Level 3 categories and have a dedicated facility for technical training. Their reach is extensive, with 11,617 online class completions and 2,300 in-person completions, training technicians from across the U.S., Canada, and 15 other countries.

Lippert’s involvement in the RV Technical Institute’s Level 3 Curriculum is more than just about training; it’s about uplifting the entire RV industry. By ensuring that technicians are well-trained and equipped with the latest skills, Lippert contributes to the overall quality and reliability of RV services, benefiting the industry at large.

The RV Technical Institute continues to expand its Level 3 curriculum, offering opportunities for other suppliers to become accredited training providers. This expansion not only enriches the curriculum but also opens doors for more technicians to receive top-tier training, further strengthening the industry’s technical expertise.
