KOA Partners with RTIC to Elevate Camping, Tailgating Season

Kampgrounds of America (KOA) has teamed up with outdoor gear brand RTIC Outdoors to enhance the camping and tailgating experience during the 2024 season. KOA, known for its extensive network of campgrounds, and RTIC, which specializes in premium outdoor gear, aim to provide campers with exclusive products and promotions. 

This partnership comes just in time for the NASCAR Xfinity Series, with RTIC sponsoring JR Motorsports #88 car at the Kansas Lottery 300 on September 28.

The collaboration is designed to increase visibility for both brands while connecting with outdoor enthusiasts and NASCAR fans. The Kansas Lottery 300 offers a platform for KOA and RTIC to showcase their commitment to adventure, camping, and tailgating. KOA campers will gain access to a range of RTIC products, such as hard coolers and insulated tumblers.

KOA’s marketing team sees this partnership as a way to deepen connections between people and outdoor adventures. Diane Eichler, senior vice president of marketing at KOA, emphasized the value of providing campers with gear to improve their outdoor experiences. 

“Partnering with RTIC allows us to offer our campers access to top-tier, durable gear that enhances their outdoor experiences. Whether tailgating at a NASCAR event or enjoying a peaceful weekend at one of our campgrounds, this partnership ensures our campers are equipped for memorable adventures,” Eichler explained.

In addition to the NASCAR event, KOA and RTIC are collaborating on a sweepstakes called “Let’s Tailgate Together.” This promotion will feature other partners like RVshare, Camp Chef, and Certified Piedmontese Bee. One lucky winner will receive a premium prize package to enhance their camping and tailgating activities throughout the season.
