Families at Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts nationwide can participate in Easter-themed activities, including egg hunts, crafts, and visits from Yogi Bear and the Easter Bunny, over the holiday weekend.
“Yogi Bear himself loves to join kids on many of our Easter egg hunts and sometimes the Easter Bunny joins in on the fun as well,” Trent Hershenson, vice president of marketing for Camp Jellystone, based in Southfield, Michigan, said in a press release.
The franchised network operates more than 75 locations across the United States and Canada in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences.
Parks feature family attractions such as pools, water slides, mini golf, foam parties, wagon rides, and dance events.
California’s Lodi location will host Easter crafts, an egg hunt, and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
In Georgia, the Cochran park offers similar crafts and egg hunts with Easter Bunny appearances. Lake Charles, Louisiana, adds live music to its Easter games and egg hunts, coinciding with the opening of its swimming pool and splash pads.
Michigan’s Frankenmuth location incorporates egg coloring and crafts into its Easter celebrations within the Bavarian-themed community.
North Carolina’s Asheboro park features Easter-themed games and adult-level egg hunts, while Tabor City hosts Chocolate Bunny and Marshmallow Bingo, with options for Jellystone Park characters to deliver Easter baskets.
Texas’ Wichita Falls location will offer crafts, an egg hunt, and visits from the Easter Bunny. The new Virginia location in Williamsburg plans similar activities for holiday visitors.
Several parks schedule Easter events later in spring. New York’s Bath and Jamestown locations will hold egg hunts, crafts, and character visits in early June and May, respectively. Wisconsin’s Sturgeon Bay park plans an Easter egg hunt with a DJ dance party June 5-7.
Some locations combine multiple holidays in themed events.
Frankenmuth will host a “Holiday Mash Up” August 28-30, including Easter, Fourth of July, Halloween, and Christmas crafts. Monroe City, Missouri, observes a “Holiday Medley Mix-up” August 3-9 with Easter hunts, Halloween costumes, Thanksgiving games, and Christmas ornaments. Brandon, South Dakota, schedules a “Holiday Mashup Week” May 26-31 featuring Easter, Valentine’s Day, and Christmas activities.
In Canada, New Brunswick’s Lower Woodstock park will hold a “Holiday Hibernation Celebration” during July 31–August 4 and September 4–8, with springtime egg hunts, Christmas-themed events, and crafts.
