Heartland RV is launching the Bighorn 3960LS and Landmark Scottsdale floorplans for their premium fifth-wheel brands at America’s Largest RV Show in Hershey, Pa., this week, a report said.
According to the company, the floorplans were developed with a particular focus on bathroom and bedroom designs.
“We always seek to achieve what we call ‘room separation,’ and we attempt to give each space an individual identity and purpose. We’re hoping that the new bathroom and bedroom floorplans create a seamless, appealing fifth wheel that has an innovative design,” said Andy Wesdorp, the general manager of Heartland RV.
The Bighorn 3960LS uses Heartland RV’s “slide-in-slide” technology. The bed slide is the main one, which gives more room in the bathroom and bedroom, and the additional king bed slide provides 24 inches of living to the bedrooms.
The unique feature of the floor plan is the side-walk-through shower and toilet that makes it possible to accommodate several linen cabinets, as well as an enormous closet that serves as a laundry cabinet that is built into the slide-out.
The bedroom leads to a seat in the front beneath the tinted windshield featuring two dressers on either side. Three huge windows in the bedroom and hallway provide a lot of natural light in the upper deck.
The living room includes the top-selling rear living space layout. It also has the “Triple Top” kitchen workspace that is included in the majority of Bighorn plans, the company claims.
In the case of this particular Landmark Scottsdale, there is plenty of room within the bedroom. This bedroom doesn’t only have a slide-in-slide king-size bed, but a 3rd slide located on the door’s side offers the possibility of hanging and drawer storage.
The bedroom features one of the first Landmark “split baths” in several years, featuring a 54-inch teak seated shower on one side and the vanity-style toilet opposite. A well-placed pocket, as well as hinged doors, give you a great sense of privacy.
Additionally, the split bath gives easy access to the washer/dryer cabinets in the bedroom. A double vanity is located in the bedroom for “his and hers” bathroom requirements.
The kitchen of this floorplan has an unobstructed 54-inch kitchen island and a “televator” which is a 55-inch television with the 48-inch width of its window when it is stored in the base of the entertainment center.
“Since our inception in 2003, Heartland RV has been at the forefront of RV innovation, in both floorplan layout and features. These two new layouts are sure to continue the tradition of leading, not following, and bringing dynamic concepts first to the market,” said Wesdorp.
