As the New Year approaches, Go RVing has released its latest insights into trends and resolutions impacting the RV industry. With 2025 on the horizon, perennial themes such as self-improvement, financial wellness, and lifestyle balance continue to dominate New Year’s resolutions.
A continuation of 2024’s most popular resolutions reveals saving money (59%), exercising more (50%), and eating healthier (47%) as key priorities.
According to a News and Insights report of RVIA, travel has also emerged as a significant resolution, with many individuals expressing interest in “soft travel”—characterized by simplicity and relaxation—as well as “solo travel” for those seeking personal exploration. Go RVing emphasizes the alignment between these trends and RV travel, citing its compatibility with financial stability and mental and physical health.
A 2023 study conducted by an independent firm found that RV vacations are a cost-effective alternative to traditional travel. The study highlighted that a four-person travel party can save up to 60%, while two-person groups can realize savings of up to 46%, depending on variables like RV type and vacation style.
The physical and mental benefits of RV travel are also significant. Research by AllTrails and UnYoked revealed that over 400 respondents who camped offline for just two nights and three days reported a 16% reduction in burnout and a 12.7% improvement in overall well-being.
Go RVing’s messaging strategies continue to focus on these themes, aiming to connect with audiences through relatable content. By leveraging social media platforms, the organization has showcased user-generated content and short-form videos to highlight RV travel’s affordability and wellness benefits.
