Amidst high fuel costs and soaring prices, things are looking sunny and bright for Florida’s Wildwood RV Village.
Work on the RV park’s phase three may still be underway, but almost half of its new premium sites—some of which are still being built—are already booked for the season, according to Jennifer Johnson, the operations property manager of Wildwood RV.
“We are very excited to have these sites open. These are 159 sites, and out of the 159 sites, we already have—I think it’s 64—actively reserved for the season and for some of the current annual tenants that we do have on-site here,” Johnson said in a video posted on LinkedIn earlier today.
Once complete, there will be 504 RV sites at the property just off Florida’s highway I-75—most of which the campground anticipates to be occupied by snowbirds in the coming months.
The sites under phase three are a little bit bigger. Comparing the size to those in phase two, the new sites are 10-15 feet bigger, Johnson said.
Moreover, pedestals are now a little bit taller. Each RV site will also be equipped with hardwired internet through the pedestal to the camper and an assigned modem for all devices to connect seamlessly for streaming.
However, the process for the park was not as smooth as its newly paved roads. In the video, Johnson shared that “it’s taken some time to get here with all of the delays in the shipping industry and such.”
Despite being affected by supply chain bottlenecks, construction of Wildwood RV Village’s phase three is near completion. Soon, the new sites will be vacated by happy campcationers and getawayers.
“It’s almost complete. We are very excited,” she said.
Wildwood RV Village is situated at 882 E. State Road 44 in Wildwood, Florida. The park is pet and family-friendly and features a heated pool, on-site laundry, and more. Responding to a commenter on Facebook, Johnson said that more amenities are coming to the park after all sites have been completed.
Apart from full-service RV sites, the campground also offers on-site RV rentals.
