Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo has announced the opening of five additional Luxury Glamping Tents, expanding its premium outdoor accommodation inventory at its 1,700-acre property in Central Florida.
The expansion reflects continued interest in accommodations that combine outdoor settings with resort-style amenities, a trend that has gained traction across the outdoor hospitality and experiential travel sectors.
The new tents mirror the design and layout of the resort’s existing luxury glamping units, which have become a core part of its accommodation mix. Each tent exceeds 500 square feet and is located within a shaded oak hammock, offering a private setting while maintaining proximity to shared amenities and resort services.
The additions increase capacity for guests seeking nontraditional lodging options that do not require RV ownership or traditional camping equipment, according to a press release.
Each luxury glamping tent includes climate control with air conditioning and heating, a king-sized bed, a queen sleeper sofa, luxury linens, a ceiling fan, electrical outlets, and a private ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and double-sink vanity. Kitchenette features include a microwave and mini refrigerator, allowing guests to prepare light meals on site.
Guests staying in the luxury glamping tents receive access to VIP glamping concierge services, nightly campfire service, and morning coffee delivery. A complimentary golf cart is provided for transportation around the resort.
Shared outdoor amenities include communal fire pits and seating areas intended to encourage social interaction while maintaining flexibility for private use.

Located approximately one hour south of Orlando and two hours north of Palm Beach County, Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo offers a broad range of accommodations, including RV sites, traditional tent camping, lodge rooms, cabins, rail cars, cottages, luxe teepees, and glamping tents.
The property is also known for its recurring rodeo events, outdoor recreation offerings, and family-oriented activities.
Luxury glamping guests receive complimentary access to River Country Water Park, which recently opened on the property. The water park includes multiple slides, such as a 281-foot open water slide, a free-fall slide, a tube slide, and a children’s splash pad, further diversifying the resort’s on-site attractions.
For outdoor hospitality operators, the expansion highlights how premium glamping can be positioned as part of a broader accommodation strategy rather than a standalone offering. By integrating high-end tents alongside RV sites, traditional lodging, and entertainment amenities, operators may diversify revenue streams, extend average length of stay, and appeal to guests seeking outdoor experiences without sacrificing comfort.
